You know, it's weird - I'm a 25 year old man and I just got really excited to chat with a former hero of mine. Willard Reaves comes into the dome to hit balls nearly every day - he's got quite the hit behind his ball too... well - yesterday I went to have him sign a hat for my dad - who really is a huge fan of #38 - and today he came into the shop.

I've chatted with him before on the football field (he helped out with a team I coached) - and there it was different... there it was ball. But now - now it was just a good fun conversation. 15 minutes and I was just beaming - I can remember thinking he was a god when I was a kid - running up and down every damned defense in the cfl... (I can also remember him being a dick when my team played a team he coached - he's a very good coach - very aggressive though... talk about running up the score).

So yeah - I was just glad to have a chat with him - that makes me smile.
